Welcome to Moonsea Adventures, an NWN2 persistent world, based on the region of Forgotten Realms known as the Moonsea. We use both AD&D and D&D 3.5 sources for reference, and the fertile imaginations of our design team, to bring you an immersive and exciting experience in this harsh, unforgiving, conflicted, and intrigue-filled region. 4/19/09 The Server is currently offline and on hiatus, we are no longer an active persistent world, and will be a private campaign server with weekley sesssions. Our bulletin boards have been changed to reflect this, so stop by if you are interested in joining the campaign.

10/16/08 The Server has been updated and will require a download of the new pwc and new campaign folder. These can be found in the downloads section of our site. Lots of stuff went into the update...Check the roleplay section for Moonsea-Adventures_v1.08
- Lowered respawn penalties as follows. 150 - 75 - 40
- Fixed the transition between the Stonegold Clan and Athalmult exits.
- Redirected the Gemhammer Clan door directly to the Underdark.
- Rebaked the 2nd level of the lighthouse.
- Set the "ambush triggers" to a timed spawn.
- Set extended quest spawns to timed.
- Open the Marsk and Irdani enclaves in Oserion's Haven.
- Loaded Marsk and Irdani NPC's and related conversations.

- Optimize AQ and Irongates city areas for light placement (several of the areas were sluggish).

8/31/08 The server is back up. There's a new PWC, and 2 updated haks files to download (ma_customization, ma_dmfi_heed). When the server comes back online, there are several backend changes, mostly to the dmfi tools, as well as a few rules tweaks. The Death penalty has been lessened slightly from 200 per level to 150. Corpses are now persistent after game crashes and resets. Several of the Harper and Guardsmen quests have been fixed, and most importantly, sittable chairs are now working correctly. There will be an announcement on the bulletin boards when the server is back up. Thanks for your patience!

7/30/08 It's been a long time in coming, but there's another round of updates. This one went from a quest and walkmesh update into something far far bigger. A ton of quest, crafting and item exploits have been fixed. Several quests should now be more stable and perform as intended. Several more quests were added, lots of goodies for the DM's as well, and of course walkmesh and campaign fixes. Currently crafting has been disabled, and will be enabled when we the system fixed. This update will require a new PWC download, and a Campaign folder download. (check our downloads section) Below is a list of goodies included in the udpates.

-Fix Great Axe, battle axe fiasco in stores, as well as dwarven waraxe. You will need to get rid of your old axes and purchase new ones.

5/11/08 A new PWC file is available in the downloads section. It fixes the grass texture and floating placeables error that had afflicted a few of our exteriors. Also several small fixes and quests have been added in. So download the PWC and enjoy the server!


The Server is back. There have been and will continue be numerous changes additions and tweaks. Their is a new PWC file available in the downloads section. Further, the server is now scheduled to reboot every 4 hours, starting at 6am GMT-5, please be aware of that! Among the other critical changes made...
Changes
-Xp is now subtracted from your characters on death after lvl 3.

-Mob tweaks to make the game more playable.
-Framework in place for hp and spell logging (not yet activated) .
